James is a sculpter who works extensivley in stone, terracotta, plaster, cast resins and metals.
Stone sculptures in the warm colours and wonderful textures of Cotswold Stone are one of the hall-marks of his work.
He is also a painter in oils, with many of his canvasses concerned with the same themes as his statues, betraying a sculptors eye for line and form.
